I heard recently that we can do a speciality in one of the7 sates just after doing nbde1-2 and after that we will get the liscence to practise in our speciality,,,so i would like to know is that true ????
anyone have an idea about this !!! well as far as i know that after doin nbde1 and 2 then we have to go to dental school for 2 yr program to get dds.. so is it true about the speciality in one of the 7 states as soon after doin the boards aprt1-2 ????
thanks! lookin to hear from u
thanks

You can do AEGD program for 2 years (vs 1 year for american graduates) and practice in 9 (i think) states in the U.S. HOwever, IF YOU wish you practice OUT of these 9 states you are out of luck.
The AEGD program pays you but are HIGHLY competitive.

hey bigsmile,,thanks

do AEGD program needs Part 1 and 2? any more details about it??

i think it will be less expensive than doing dds for 2 yrs...just a guess. :luck:

Ya its way cheaper but the limit that you can ONLY practice in 9 states doesnt suit everyone. Besides there are probably 10 seats ALL over the U.S for this type of program vs. alot more for a normal IDS program so I wouldnt hold my breath for it. 🙂
