post interview "on hold" from downstate anyone?

I got a letter saying my application is on hold and a decision will be made in the spring. This is post-interview. Doesn't "on hold" basically mean that theyll reject me later, but theyre just stringing me along?

it certainly does NOT mean that. myself and many of my classmates (COM-09) got in off the hold list. i do suggest that you continue to update them on what you are doing (volunteer work, research, grades, etc) and i even sent them additional letters of recommendation. this lets them know that you are still interested. good luck.
