Post-Interview Rejections (NYCPM-TEMPLE)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I have my NYCPM interview tomorrow and my Temple interview on 1/04. I applied to only those 2 schools, and got interview fairly quickly since sending in my application. I FELT confident about the interviews since I am normally confident talking to people.

I just had a jolt of fear when I read someone else on the board being rejected after a supposed good interview.

cGPA: 3.39
sGPA: 3.19
MCat: 21N (3rd time, always increased)
Uncle goes to NYCPM
I do have a 3 C's in science courses.
Very good EC's.

Lastly do they ask you for an updated transcript once you get an acceptance?

I just need an honest answer how confident I should feel, I feel like the C's and the MCAT are big bumps but at the same time I did receive an interview request fairly quickly.

If you're not finished your degree, NYCPM will ask for an updated transcript if they offer you admission. I already had my degree completed when I interviewed so I wasn't asked to submit a final transcript. It's worth asking Lisa Lee if you need to maintain a certain GPA in your remaining courses, just to be sure, but I would imagine that all you need is to pass whatever you have left in your degree with Cs.

Use the info on SDN as a guide, not a measuring stick. Your confidence should come from within, not from what others have done/not done.

With those stats, he/she is average MCAT and decent GPA, something is probably amiss. I could see 3 things, terrible personal statement, terrible interviewer, or puffing up their stats on this forum.

I think it came down to the interview. I'm not going to say the OP had bad interview etiquette, but I think it is the lack of preparation. I feel like there are some students who take for granted how "easy" podiatry school interviews are, therefore they don't feel the need to actually prepare for them. My point is, NOT every interview invite is a guaranteed acceptance.
