After interviewing, aside from sending thank-yous and going in for a second look, is there anything else you can do/should do if you're really interested in a program? Should you contact the program director? Write a letter of intent? I've worked this hard to try to get the best residency possible and it seems wrong for me to just remain idle waiting for the match. Feels like I should be doing more.

You could ask someone to make a phone call on your behalf (your mentor, chairman, etc).
