Hi everyone.....I scored 81 in NBDE part 1...and my GPA is 3.65....I have done observerships under 2 dentists in US....still people ask me not to apply in schools since my score is too low...What should I do...????😕

I would suggest take part 2, build you resume in terms of meaningful experience in the field and then apply. It will take some time before you add these things on your application but trust me schools like UPENN, UOC consider scores like those and look at the candidate's hard work, determination and dedication.
With my experience in several interviews this year, most of the directors told us that they are aware that NBDE cannot be re taken and would consider lower scores in the upcoming application cycles.

I think you will have a better chance in the coming application cycle since people cant retake the exam.get high score in toefl.do part 2. you will make it.
I know that it's kind of tough as you can't retake part 1. However, schools also understand this point. You can do whatever in your hand like take part 2, get good score in toefl, try to find out if you can volunteer for some research projects, some people do some continuing education courses & improve your resume as much as you can. Schools always look for complete package & candidate's hard work & dedication. Don't be disappointed & never ever give up on your dreams. You can do it.

my part 1 score is 84, GPA 3.13, toefl 96, MDS in oral surgery, 10+ yrs of experience.. still I have no interviews yet..and going by things till now.. don't expect one... we all are working on part 2 to make a better resume nxt yr.. since we can't change part 1 and GPA... so buddy lets keep up the hope and fight... and NEVER GIVE UP👍

I got a score of 77, took the exam in Jan.. I was scoring an avg of around 80-83% in my past papers.. so i was really disappointed with the result..
Any word of advice as to how one should go about now? I was thinking of doing Research and applying?
Or you guys think giving part 2 is a better option?

Do part 2 , high toefl score and volunteering experience or work experience along with some continuing education . if you go through the forum there is someone who got accepted with 77 part 1 , part 2 75 in UOC. so dont loose hope . i guess schools are aware of the difficulty of nbde exams.never give up.

would like to know about my chances of getting into IDP with stats of 81 in part1, 75 in part 2, toefl 105, GPA of 3.33, 2 years experience working as a certified dental assistant in usa, plus few CE courses taken, what you do you think i can improve on or add to the profile to get an interview, any😍 response will help a lot thanks

Hi everyone...just took my exam 2 days back and not at all happy.....i worked so hard but exam was really tough.....i tried to find their answers from books but could not.....i am really scared now.....got less than 50 percent questions from books.....i want to know from other guys who already gave their exam that how was their exam?how many questions they git in exam which they really know and how many were only guesses?plz help me........

hey ppl my stats are 81/3.6/110 i was very disappointed with my score i was scoring above 87 in practice exams soi dont know wht went wrong.... i am preparing for part 2 and observing at the same time... is there anything else i can do to improve my resume plz help....... i am new to this forum so i dnt knw nyone ur helpwill be appreciated.
Some firms / colleges organize the Continuing Education course say a 2-3 day dental conference... You might try searching in your area...... Register your e-mail there so that you keep updated. Also I would say try volunteer for an organization in research facilities..
But preparing part 2 and doing all this will be difficult so first try scoring good on part 2 and later you can concentrate on other options !!!!! Good luck ....
