Hi,

I'd like to ask you some questions :

1/ After finishing Postbac, how are the chances of getting into Med schools ? What is the percentage of Postbac students getting acceptance ?

2/ After doing a Postbac, I'll be re-applying : will I need brand new LORs and essay ? Can I use old ones ???

3/ Is there tuition assistance for Postbac program ?

Totally depends on the school, what type of postbac program you're talking about, and the individual. The formal postbacs have exceedingly high acceptance rates, but if you're a premed, you're not eligible for those programs.

I definitely would get new essays/LORs.

3/ Is there tuition assistance for Postbac program ?

It's the same as school, so you would have to fill out FASFA and see what you get.

I'm talking about Academic-enhancement Programs.
It's the first time I hear Premeds are not eligible for them 😕

academic enhancement programs are pretty much the same as informal postbacs where you just take classes at a school. Penn has one called special science or something, Harvard's HCP program is pretty similar. As far as chances go, HCP apparently has a 90% acceptance rate, if you get sponsored.
