hi, all
I have a quick question for those of you who had less than a 3.0 BCPM. When applying to med school while in postbac, did not having your post bac grades on AMCAS affect your entrance to med school. I guess what i'm trying to say is, if you start post bac after senior year of undergrad with BCPM less than 3.0, how will med schools see that you have improved if they don't have your postbac grades when you apply in June?

They won't, if you go the post-bac route you need to wait until after you've raised your GPA to apply, which means a lag year. Also, unless you have a very good MCAT, you're still going to be looking at the SMP, the Carribean, or maybe a DO school (with a 30+ MCAT) at the end of the Post-bac year.
