Hi everyone,

I am planning on finishing my undergrad and entering a postbacc program next spring/summer (2011), and I am trying to decide what to do with my plans for this coming summer, in order to enhance my application. My gpa is well within the required level, but I do not have relevant science coursework (astronomy and nutrition). My plans have been to shadow different doctors for one week each in order to both get a feel for being a doctor as well as learning about different fields. My plan was to do this for about six weeks. I have heard that other things would be more beneficial, such as taking extra science classes over the summer. Am I on the right track here? Is there anything else I could do that would also be beneficial? I'd really appreciate some feedback.

Thanks!
