I am currently applying for the postbac program and i wanted to know if there are any interviews after you submit your application?
Can anyone get acceptance to the program without interviews?
Please help

Im pretty sure you dont interview for post-bac programs. VCU's post-pac program def. doesnt require one

you can pursue an informal post bacc at any school. You simply take classes as a non-degree student and then apply to d-school. I did that and was accepted into 2 dental schools. It was easier and less procedural to do it on my own, the only difficult part was that I had to find profs and develop relationships with them in order to get LORs. Most formal post bac programs have a committee that can write one letter thats necessary for admission

I thought the informal post-bac is not offered anymore at schools...
which school are you specifically talking about?

Thank you

I know people that are in the program and they never had to interview. You just submit your application, they look at it and if they think your grades are decent then your accepted and if not then your rejected. If your not sure the schools that your applying to require one or not then simply call them and ask but from my knowledge i dont think any of the schools require an interview for post-bac

Informal post bac is an unofficial program. It doesn't exist, its happens when you go to any college and take classes as a non-degree student. You then apply to d-school with the credits in hand, but w/o any sort of degree from that school. Since you have a bachelors already it doesnt matter that the classes were taken elsewhere since the GPA is cumulative.

If you're going to do a post-bacc and the school doesn't have a formal post-bacc program, try to apply as a second degree student. It requires more work in terms of submitting transcripts and stuff but you get priority registration over non-degree which makes a huge difference in getting into classes. This is especially important for the limited seat classes like labs.

👍 true thats what I did. Its cheaper too, non-degree students pay more.

I agree with ralph. I did the same and it saved me a whole lot of pain, in regards to getting the classes I needed.
