If you have not finished all of your premed requirements as an undergraduate, can you finish the ones you haven't taken yet after you graduate in a postbach program/just taking classes after you graduate? Or do you have to repeat all the pre-med requirements again in the postbach program?

You don't have to retake the pre-med reqs that you have already completed. You have would just have to work on those that have to be done and then take some upper level science courses. But you will have to find a post-bac program that will allow you to go in with some pre-reqs already completed. There are plenty out there but not all of them I think take students that have already completed some reqs.

If you only have a few classes left to complete and your previous grades are good, you can just take a few of them on your own after you graduate. This is considered an "informal post-bacc." You just sign up for the classes you need at your current university or wherever you are.

If you have already taken a significant number of the pre-reqs, than you will not be able to enter into many of the formal postbac programs. Just take the extra courses as a non-matriculated student at any decent 4 year school.

Just FYI, There is no h in postbac. It is short for postbaccalaureate.

I have a question about postbac, too. I am currently enrolled as an exercise science major seeking a second bachelors. In this process, I changed my mind and decided I want to go to med school instead. I have already started taking my science classes. My question is: Since I am already enrolled as a degree-seeking student, can I just continue to take my science pre-reqs and still qualify for federal financial aid or do I have to re-enroll as an official postbac student and lose my financial aid? I don't know if med schools will look unfavorably on enrolling under one program that I have no intention of completing. Advice?

Lots of nontrads enroll as a second-degree seeking student to qualify for financial aid. No, you don't have to finish the second degree if you already have a bachelor degree and are only trying to get through your prereqs.
