postdoc and group practice prep

Hi everyone! I'll be starting a VA postdoc next year. After that, I'll be applying to VA and group practice positions. Re: group practice, are there specific training experiences I should pursue during postdoc?

Not sure if this differs place to place, but around here it is non-competitive to join a group practice. My practice only asked for a resume and a brief interview (no recommendations, transcripts, or work samples.) They hired me on the spot. I suppose that part of the reason is that we are independent contractors rather than real employees. We have a lot of autonomy.

They did particularly like that I see kids and can do psycho-educational assessments.
