Postinterview Communication Policy?

It's my understanding that for the past couple of years postinterview contact between programs and interviewees was governed strictly. Anyone have insight into what is okay and what isn't? Any changes from last year to this year?

ACAPS has a policy under "residents and students" but unfortunately it's members-only.
 
I've been told by my chairman that ACAPS policy is strict no contact between candidates and program faculty after the interview. That includes thank you cards, emails and obviously phone calls.
