So in the email it said that the secondary application for UCSF must be postmarked within 21 days of the email I received (August 9th). What does "postmark" mean exactly? I'm finishing it up tonight and it will be in a mailbox by morning. What if it arrives in SF on Monday but they don't get to it until later in the week, does that mean my application will be cancelled?

btw this Monday the August 30th is 21 days from the time I got my email. Input please! 🙂

it means your 2ndary has to be stamped by the post office by 8/30 (usually post office stamp your mail on the day you drop it off and send it out either the same day or the day after depending on the time you drop it off), so you will be fine if you mail it out tomorrow morning. If you mail it out on 8/31 then you will be disqualified.

Oh so I could even drop it in a mailbox Saturday morning (like 8 AM) and still be okay? Cool. I thought postmarked meant it had to get there by that date. Thanks for letting me know!

in light of 2Pac's thread, i would turn it in tomorrow (asap).

I was close to the deadline as well so I dropped mine off at the post-office just so I knew it'd be received/stamped by the post-office that day. Didn't want to have some fluke mistake/early pickup affect my app.
