Cracking the mcat
1) http://www.amazon.com/Cracking-2011...718X/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1317754761&sr=8-3

Review book
2) http://www.amazon.com/Physics-Review-Graduate-School-Preparation/dp/0375427953/ref=pd_sim_b4

3) Hyperlearning

I am confused between these three. I have read here that the content of the review books is the same as that of the hyperlearning?

What about "cracking the MCAT" then, can someone please shed some light on this? Is this similar to TPRH? I need to buy books and am confused.

Thank you so much.

Post this this should be a stick b/c it gets asked everyday around here.

The "review book" is the same set as the hyperlearning books. The title "hyperlearning" is what princeton review uses to describe its mcat prep course. So, when TPRH is mentioned, we're talking about books used in the prep course.

The second link you posted to the TPR physics book is the same as the hyperlearning books. If you were enrolled in the course, this is what you would get as part of the princeton review course.

The CBT book is an "all in one" book that princeton review puts out for people who don't want to buy individual books for the mcat. The cbt is not very good review compared to the hyperlearning books.

Basicall, buy the hyperlearning books, meaning the review books in the link you posted. There should be a physics, biology, chemistry, orgo and verbal/writing review. Those are the same as the hyperlearning books.

As far as I understand it..

Cracking the MCAT - 1 book, all-inclusive of every subject you need.

MCAT math/physics - just a book on the math/physics section

Hyperlearning - Each science broken down into the individual books

I would go with the hyperlearning, personally. Reading through a book that's all-inclusive just sounds cumbersome.
