practice dat score-should i try?

23 aa, 22th, 22pat respectivley
entering senior year of undergrad with 2.9 cgpa and 3.5 scigpa
im hoping to round up my cumulative to a solid 3.1-3.2 by graduation

if i take the actual dats n get the same scores-should i apply?
my ecs are great but im worried about that low overall gpa
i want to apply all cali n east coast schools

i have been thinking of doing a pot bach but ive been told to just take some upper div classes after graduation instead...prob some non sci ones...

i wanted to do an smp pogram but that means studyin for the mcat as well

wht do you think? im just so confused n stresses🙁🙁

You should def apply if you get 23 DAT and apply to ~20 schools.

When are you taking your DAT?

i prob wont take it till jan-i have a heavy fall semester and want to finish with strong grades.

what schools should i be applying to? do i pick based on the dat scores? ie check the rankings on prednt by school dat and apply frm there?
hopeful they will look past my nonscience gpa....ucla ucsf and uop are my top choices...

oh darn-you got me 😉 lol...seriously-i appreciate the feedback. i honestly thought i stood no chance even with a high score like the practice-so thanks!

Some SMPs will take your DAT score instead of MCAT or GRE, such as UMDNJ. Also, use the ADEA guide book to look for schools that favor higher DAT over higher GPA if you do indeed score that well on the real test. But honestly you'll need to do several practice tests and from different companies before you can truly get an idea of how you can score on the real one.
