Biology: 17
General Chem: 18
Organic Chem: Didn't take; haven't taken course yet
Reading Comprehension: 24
PAT: 22
QR: 25

Am I in deep trouble? In the next few semesters, I will take another general chemistry course, two semesters of organic chem, microbiology and biochemistry, anatomy & physiology, human biology, and the like. Basically, I have two years left to graduate and want to take the DAT sometime within the next year.

are you studying two yrs in advance? 😱

Oops; I didn't mean that I had 2 years left until I take the DAT, I mean I have 2 years left until I graduate. So the DAT is under a year.

if you are okay retaining information for that long- i say you are just fine...

but i you don't reinforce it you are likely to forget what you have learned now in a few months..( and i don't mean general concepts i mean details like: how many heart chambers do amphibians have?) . Things like that can come up on the DAT and I think that studying closer to the test day will be more beneficial. But hey..that's just me

Thank you; do you think an 18 average on the natural sciences will be offset if I score in the mid-20s on the QR, PAT, and RC? I'm sure my scores will increase with increased exposure to the subjects, but I'm just wondering just in case.

dude if you started studying now, that score of 18 will easily shoot to 20+ if you're consistent with your studying and retain.

I'm personally a better crammer, when I started the DATQvault practice tests for bio, I got a 14 on my first one. By the 8th test I hit a 25. And im a terrible test taker.

There is hope for you yet!
