hey everyone
i am going to take the dat in a few months. so far i got the kaplan books and finished reading those. thus i would like to know if i can purchase practice tests online ie amazon or something and was wondering if anyone can recommend anything? i just need to practice practice practice now!
or if anyone can post a link if this question has been asked, much appreciated.

The ADA offers 1 free and 1 paid practice test on their website. People on here say that the free one is a lot easier than the real thing, and the paid practice test is slightly harder than the free one, but still easier than the real thing. Another thing to note is that some mistakes have been found in either of these tests.

Topscore Dat practice test software has a reputation for providing an accurate representation of what a person will score on the real DAT. Generally people score slightly lower than they will on the real thing (that was the case in my test). The software is like 50 bucks and it contains 3 simulated DAT tests. I would highly recommend getting this software.

Achiever Dat practice test software has a reputation for being ridiculously harder than the real DAT. Some people have commented that the only thing this software will do for you is make you depressed. I cannot speak from my own experiences because I never purchased the software. If anyone else has had a good experience with achiever please speak up.

Kaplan blue book has 1 practice test in the back as you probably already know. The key is to try and simulate real test conditions even on the paper tests.

Hope this info helps, I can't think of any other practice tests.

I have had a very good experience with Achiever. Yes, it does challenge you, but it only makes you want to study more. Bio is probobly the most difficult science part because it tests specifics, but OC and GC is fair. The reading also makes you work, but after this, the real DAT reading seems easier. The PAT section is ridiculous, but makes you look for important details in the shapes.

get the Dat Destroyer!!! it is the best investment for practice questions, the gen chem and orgo section in it is very helpful (great explanations), the questions in the bio section are more detailed than the ones you'll see on the real dat (but it's good practice), and the math section really helps to get the rust of ur algebra and trig skillz
