So I've heard that the real DAT has made problems that make line counting pretty much useless. Which practice software does the best of giving top front end questions where line counting cannot be used to simulate the real DAT?

Also for cube counting, I've seen everyone tally up all the numbers 0-6, but does anybody just look ahead 3 questions and only count for the numbers they ask for?

For your first problem--just use any practice tool and don't count lines. LOL, it's that simple! Just keep yourself from doing it and try to visualize the figure as best as possible.

It should only be 0-5 for the cube counting. I'd stick with this method instead of only doing the numbers they ask. Go through the cube figures methodically, from left to right. These problems are quick in nature, but don't rush. Be thorough. You want to get 15/15 on this section.
