How do US MD students go on to become a doctor in other countries (i.e. what time do they leave) ?

Other countries like China and Pakistan value US medical doctors much more prestigious than their own country doctors, so I wanted to explore the possibility of going to practice there. How would I do this? Am I technically considered a doctor after I graduate medical school, or would I have to wait until after residency to practice foreign? When would be the best time for an US MD student to go outside the country to practice there?

I recommend that you complete your training before practicing independently here or abroad.
This means finishing residency. Each country has rules that govern the practice of medicine by those who have trained elsewhere. Internationally recognized aid agencies (e.g. MSF) certify the accreditation of the physicians who work on their teams. Thus, you could work in any country under their auspices.
