Practicing RC Strategy on Achiever

Is Achiever RC a good test to practice your RC strategy? I tried a different method today and I got a 12 on Achiever #3! RC is probably the section I'm worried the most on right now. I have my test in a week.

CDR: 15, 15, 17, 18, 18, 16, 16,
TS: 17 (first practice test -- time killed me)


Achiever RC [1] & [2]: Skim, then S&D - I made a mistake by not skipping the tone questions. If there was one of those "EXCEPT" questions, I would S&D each multiple choice answer. That realllly killed me.

Achiever RC [3]: Tried Vicviper's strategy, but I have a hard time finding those keywords and time end up destroying me


I know CDR and Achiever have a lot more tone Qs so it's hard for me to practice a method.

I got exactly 1 weeks left. I'm taking Achiever 4 and 5 the next 2 days, and topscore 2 and 3 on sunday/monday.

try the modified vicviper's strategy ive seen some ppl post, where you look at the questions, and write down like 1-2 words from the question, then when u go thru the passage, if u see a word that u wrote down, go quickly to that question and answer it, then keep on reading.
