Pre-Dent member of ASDA help?

On the national ASDA website, theres the option of a predent subscribing for 1 year of membership. Is that something one can put on their DS app? It does show dedication to the field, but im not sure how one can squeeze it in there. Would it be EC or what?

Consider it as qualifying for a "Gold Star Award".

I think it would be much more helpful for you to be a member of your university's pre-dental/health society if you have one, because just signing up to be a member of ASDA online and not actually doing anything is just about as good as getting one of those "Doctor of Divinity" or "Doctor of the Universe" degrees online from paper mills for $14.99 .

I think it would be much more helpful for you to be a member of your university's pre-dental/health society if you have one, because just signing up to be a member of ASDA online and not actually doing anything is just about as good as getting one of those "Doctor of Divinity" or "Doctor of the Universe" degrees online from paper mills for $14.99 .

I actually just started my own Pre-dent club, but I was just wondering if that too would help.

It seems like you've already made up your mind, but you first need to answer the question that could easily come up at an interview, "Oh! I see you were a member of the National ASDA! What was your involvement in that?" And think about how a bad answer to that question could really spoil your interviewer's, the person who defends you to the Admission Committee, impression of you.

Precisely. If you put ASDA on your AADSAS or CV as something you are a part of, and the adcom sees this, they may very well ask about your involvement, which as a predent is likely nothing outside of receiving "Mouth" every month.

i'm a predent member of ASDA, and i did not put it on my AADSAS for this very reason.
