HI
Im a junior in high school. I was considering dentistry as a career but I want to know if predentistry classes are really hard and is it hard to maintain a gpa over 3.5 and are the classes so hard compared to like honors high school science classes because Im right now only have a 3.6ish and idk if I will be able to maintain that in college. also what are some good predentistry colleges in NY. Would you consider City College of CUNY, or hunter college or any CUNYS thanx

You still have a lot more years to study...
I wouldn't worry too much about it at your age but.... Just focus on your high school classes for now.... then get into a local university, major in bio, get 3.5 GPA, score 20+ on DAT and you are good to go!👍

so good to be young ..i want go back high school.....🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

This is getting disturbing.
Why are so many High School kids and Community College students worrying about dentistry, while they still have so many years of studying ahead of them. I mean it's good to have a head start and all, but this is a complete overkill.
Act like your age and enjoy high school, while it lasts. Because when it's gone, you'll be missing it BIG TIME!!!!

I wish, I would've asked stuff like this early on. Maybe I would've realized that I couldn't afford to totally screw my freshman year hah.😴 Oh well, I learned a good lesson 😀.

Shoot i WISH i wouldve known what i wanted to do since high school, Ntham every highschool kid i talk to whether family or friends my number one piece of advice is to try to get a jumpstart on the career that you might wanna be apart of, and you got it down. If you do good in honors bio and honors chem you will be set in college. Stay motivated, and focused and difficulty will not be much of a task. Soak up all the chem and bio stuff you learning now so you'll kill you university courses. Also try to keep all your algebra and geometry in mind cuz you will (sadly) need it for the DAT's. Good luck
