Pre-Employment Hair Follicle Drug Testing

I'm being interviewed for a hospital pharmacist job, and I know they're going to drug test. I figure it'll be urine, but what are the chances that they'd do a hair follicle drug test for pre-employment screening? Anybody have that happen?

Only friend I have who ever had a hair follicle test was applying for an FBI computer science internship. I would not be concerned at all of having to do one.

But then again you never know...........

In addition to the regular urine screening, I had to do a polygraph test for my tech job at a hospital. So you might get to look forward to that...

I think it's just a threat to keep the druggies at bay. It's probably too expensive to do on a regular basis. Maybe for narc techs and such.

Disco biscuit is another name for ectasy. That drug has some unique street names.

Yeah, I already said that in post #14. I think that's one of the better known slang names for X but I'm sure that the "popularity" of different names varies by where you are located.

I'm not sure why I didn't translate X into ectasy. Shows how much I truly know about street drugs.

At my most recent pre-employment screening, they did both urine and hair testing. They collected much more hair than I expected.

This, hair testing is expensive, and most places aren't going to do it for that reason alone.

I had it done for a nuclear pharmacy internship with Cardinal Health. I don't know, maybe they were worried I was addicted to cardiac stress tests.
