I have pretty decent stats and I am aware what all goes into being accepted to dental school however, I was wondering if I should contact a my top choice pre-interview just to let them know that I am interested. I know if you are on a wait-list a letter of intent can help your chances. Is there anything analogous that I could/should be doing to increase my chances? Or do I have to just sit and wait?

I would assume everyone who applied there is interested in the school pre-interview, a separate phone call to state your interest may seem strange.
