I don't think UAB give any prematch, but what program you are asking about.

First, the Rank order list certification deadline is February 21 for candidates and programs. Every program certifies his rank accordingly before that time. The point, if the program will decide to offer prematch positions he will do for those candidates eligible to that (FMG, US physicians NOT US seniors) by the roles set by the program. To send email or whatever asking them to consider you for prematch will not help at all on the other hand may negatively affect your application (I believe the program will not reply to that inquiry). Every program knows that he can offer prematch to FMG and the later can accept that offer or not.
Finishing step3 is not every thing in the application; it is one plus point among many others (year of graduation, step1 and step2 scores, trials and how recent they are, interview performance, performance in medical school, publications, US clinical rotations (not observationship), visa, LORs ….etc)
Three interviews in the world of IM is not bad number, just wait and see what will happen. Good luck
