Pre-med at UT Austin

I'm most likely going to attend UT Austin as a pre-med starting fall 2021. But before I go, I would like to be clear about deflated GPAs at UT Austin. Is this a thing? And how difficult would it be to maintain a very strong pre-med GPA?

Grade deflation is not a real thing as far as being a Bio or Biochem major at UT.

I attend UT Austin and grade deflation is not a thing. Sure, there are "weed-out" introductory biology and chemistry classes, however, they seemed pretty easy to me.

Maintaining a high GPA should not be a problem.
