I'm about to begin my senior year of college and I've really been thinking about pharmacy as a possible career option now. I'm done with all but one of my pre-med requirements, but pharmacy requires more classes than the general four core science courses. I'm wondering if there are any pharmD programs that have course requirements that are more similar to those of a pre-med program? Also, would you have any other advice to help me in this situation?

You are so LUCKY to find SDN. We advocate market saturation and possibly $500k on student loan you will owe. Ask BMB for a formula to calculate how much you pay a month. I doubt it will be less than $10k a month and 50 years repayment.

Hey, why do you say tuition is $500k when it's much lower than that. Which school(s) actually charge $500k?

There is no SCHOOL charge $500k, I am mocking BMB, the one who spread doom and gloom message and claim you will owe that much of money with 3 years of residency to get a job. You mostly owe around $150k.

I used to be pre-med/pre-dental at my college in California. If you're a science major, most of the requirements are already built into your major. With that said, you do need to take a speech class, and microbiology, for most Cali schools. Personally, I felt like the transition was smooth as it can be.
