I have spent the past 10 months working as a scribe for a wonderful physician in Fort Worth, Texas. I am leaving in late May so I can have a break before medical school in the fall. Because my doctor has been so great to me, I want to find someone awesome to replace me.
The details:
* Pay: $10+/hour
* Hours: Normally, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
* Duties: Chart prep 20 hours a week, clinic 12 hours a week. Chart prep involves getting the patient's charts ready for their appointment--gathering the necessary paperwork, calling the patients if necessary. Clinic involves going into the exam rooms with the doctor and documenting the visit. This includes ordering labs, tests, etc.
*An ideal applicant would be a fast typist, have good spelling and be super reliable--if you are one of those people who calls in sick if you don't want to go to work or have the sniffles, this is not the job for you.
* Start date: Monday, May 7 (the doctor has requested 3 weeks of training--you will be more than good to go by the time I leave May 24!!!)
