Pre med looking for advice

Hello i will be applying to D.O schools this cycle. my c gpa is 2.85 and my s gpa is 3.10, however after this spring it should jump to 3.5(sgpa). i will be taking the mcat this may. my ec's are vice president of 2 clubs with some experience in a hospital and some experience in 2 health advocacy organization. i have an upward grade trend and im going to shadowing a d.o. i will be take a large course load of science,(orgo,phys,bio) this semester, will this show the adcoms im capable of handling the rigors of medical school? i'm also a 5th year college student as well, will this affect my chances?
I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me some advice on the application.

Taking a large course load doesn't show AdComs you can handle medical school. Doing well with a large course load will though.

A 5th year of undergrad is fine, it won't affect you.
