okay i got to admit i'm kinda new to posting on SDN i had a question about the pre-med reqs. is it a smart move to not use your AP credits for any of the sciences in college and just take intro science pre-reqs such as intro bio, intro chem, ect...?😕

I don't see why you would want to waste the time and energy you put into the AP classes especially if it would help you save money. If you did well in those classes, use the credit and take upper level versions of them. If you're not that confident, I guess you could take those intro classes over again and since you already have some background, it couldn't hurt you.

Be sure to check with the medical schools you want to attend to be sure that they will accept AP credits for your pre-reqs. I think I remember reading about some schools not accepting AP credits in place of certain classes.
