Pre-Meds In Colorado

Is it just me, or are there like three pre-med students in the Denver metro area?? Yes, I know that Denver's a small big city, and yes, I know we only have one medical school here (University of Colorado SOM), and yes, I know that I'm the craziest person at my undergrad school (because I think I'm the only damn pre-med there), but why oh why can't I find other pre-med students my age? (ah, had to throw the "my age" caviat in there!) I've searched and searched for some Colorado Pre-Med forum, and there's none out there. Of course, if there was one it'd be far less great than SDN...
But the point is, I need a roommate! Like Pronto. Or November 1st, whichever comes first.

Sorry, Asherlauph. I'm applying now, haven't heard squat from CU, and even if they did deign to talk to some lowly in-state person who has been paying taxes (and lots of them) for 15 years, I'd be moving my whole family out with me.

Sorry, I'm feeling a little bitter tonight about the lack of communication from my only state school. Must be time for a daiquiri and sleep.

Sorry. While my husband probably wants me to move out at this point, I am only 8 blocks from the med school and if they would ever F**king call me, I would be closer to them where I am at. I am on the Auraria campus, do you want me to post some stuff there. There are TONS of pre-meds on campus.

I'm on the Auraria campus too. It seems like there are a lot of premeds, but they don't always announce it or hang out together like people do at CSU. In my anatomy class last year, I think all but 2 people were going into health related fields.
I'm still waiting on CU to offer me an interview, so I don't know if I'll be staying here for med school. So far, I've interviewed at USUHS in Washington D.C., which is awesome, but I'd have to live away from my husband for at least a year since he's active duty in the Air Force stationed in Colorado Springs. So, we'll see.

This is true. When I went to CU-Denver, it seemed like half the people on campus were premeds. Definitely a good chunk of the bio majors at UCD are hoping to go to med school. You might think about putting some "roommate wanted" flyers up on the Auraria campus someplace...my guess is that you'd get some responses.
