Hi All,

I just graduated from USC today with a degree having nothing to do with Health. Of course I figured I wanted to work in health before I had time to do something about it. So I am going to embark on a post-bac program. So I was wondering if anyone here has done a post-bac before entering pharmacy school, and which one's did you take? I figured I would take the USC post-bac, but did anyone take a post-bac from a JC and get into a school? I'd like to go to USC's pharm school.

Thanks!

First 2 years at a CC then went onto a Business degree at a university. Had to take all my sciences to get into Pharmschool.

I also have a degree and am working on pharmacy pre-reqs. My school doesn't refer to what I'm doing as a "post-bac," but that's what it is. (I've actually never seen that term used outside of SDN). Since you're interested in USC's pharm school, you should ask the advisers there about which classes will transfer from a JC and which won't.

i graduated with degree(s) and had to finish up pre-reqs. i'm doing most of the ones i had to finish up at jc. i was a science major/history so most of my classes were done though. but i think as long as u are taking classes that are approved on their course equivalence website (or whatever they call it) at those specific schools you should be okay. but you should make sure that they approve courses before you plunge into taking them. i don't want to mislead you 😉. if you're going to jc make sure to keep a high gpa there. just my input there.
