hey guys,

Does NOVA offer you a seat even before you finish all your pre-req? I got an interview invite, but I still have once class I'm planning to take over the summer. Do they give you the final decision after the interview or after you take the class?

Thanks!!

Yes,they well offer you a seat even if you still need to take all their pre-req. They offered me a seat while they wanted me to take Anathomy& Phisilogy before the next Fall.

They let you know before you finish your pre-requisites. However, it's a conditional acceptance meaning you would need to finish and pass them prior to entering the program.

okay! yea i have that anat/phys to take. thankyou guys so much 😀

Seems like anatomy is a popular course not to take as I'm in the same boat for NOVA, got accepted and planning to take anatomy/phys in the summer.

Yeah it sucks. I didnt want to take summer school so I had to overload with 6 courses this semester to finish it!

sorry im just goin off the topic....but i was just wondering if anyone could
help answer the following question. Its from a summer school application.
question is;

How do you see the role of the Optometrist in driving an optics business of the future. Can you tell us about a time when you demonstrated these characteristics?

Best regards

I received a letter from PCO today saying that I need to complete math II. The math requirement on their website is indicated as Math 1 yr (1/2 yr calculus fulfills the requirement, 1 yr highly rec.) which lead me to think 1 semster will suffice, so what is the deal? has anyone been accepted with just one semester of calc?

It seems like you're going to have to take another semester of calculus to fulfill the 1 yr of math requirement. A very confusing statement saying "1 yr of Calculus highly recommended."
