Hi, I'm applying this cycle to DO and MD schools, but I have yet to take Physics and English (I'm taking it this upcoming school year, so I will be finished by April). Most schools want 1 semester of Eng Comp, and 1 semester of Eng Lit. I'm a Canadian, and I'm trying to figure out which Eng courses would be appropriate. There are no defined Eng Comp or Eng Lit courses at my university, so I'm wondering if any English course would satisfy the requirement. I'm thinking of taking a 2nd year full year course in Post-Colonial Caribbean Lit, or Contemporary Lit. Does anyone have any idea on how picky schools are on this Eng requirement?
Thanks!

Typically, schools just want a year of english. I would take whatever interests you the most, as this will tell the schools more about you then taking just two composition classes. Just imo
