Hello all,
So, I'm in a conundrum. My school offers a single biology lab in conjunction with the intro biology sequence. The only other labs are a 500-level immunobiology lab that I would have to bend over backwards to take or in conjunction with Genetics. The latter is what I was planning to do until I discovered that I could bypass genetics to take microbiology. I have done all of the genetics coursework between my research and previous coursework so--with the exception of some quick recall facts--it would be a lot of review. In this vein, I am wondering about the rigidity of biology lab requirements. As in, as a part of my major I am required to take a course called Biological Chemistry lab. The lab consists of running CD, PCR, Poly-acrylamide gels, and other biologically relevant experiments; however, this lab is under the moniker of CHE instead of BIO. My question is this: Would, given the actual title of the lab, this be able to be counted under the Biology lab requirement?
