Hello everyone,
I have recenlty graduate with my BA in Psychology and have decided to continue my education in the Physical Therapy route, only problem is I have 6 pre-requistes courses to catch up on and I am a little confused on how I should pair them up and take them in a semester...
I need to take Trignometory so I can take Physics 1 + lab.
I need to finish taking Anatomy 2 + lab.
I need to take Physics 2 + Lab.
And I need to take Chemistry 1 & 2 + both labs.
When I was in high school I avoided Trig and Physics and well now I have to take them - cocurrently to save time. I am also trying to finish all of these plus take the GRE (again) and volunteer within the field before Fall of next year (volunteering and GRE I know I have to finish before September the latest so I can apply to the DPT program. I will just be having some pre-requistes in progress.
My question is how should I take these courses where they will not be unbearable to handle. I also have a full-time job which is trasitioning to a part-time job...
I am currently enrolled in Trig and Physics 1 + lab but I do not know if I should also add Anatomy 2 + lab (great teachers "supposedly"). Is the school and work load too much? Has anyone done this before? And what did your schedule look like?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I don't think it's possible to take all of those classes in one semester, since some of them are prerequisites for the others?

A lot of schools will allow only 2 outstanding prerequisites at the time of application. I don't recommend more than 2 unfamiliar classes if you have a job. Will these be taken in the fall and spring or are you currently taking any of these over the summer?

I don't think you'll be able to apply with that many pre-reqs outstanding. Depending on what schools you were planning to apply to, those classes are more than half of the pre-reqs. UNT requires A&P, Biol 1+2, Chem 1+2, and Physics 1+2. you need 5 of those 7 classes. which schools were you looking at applying to? find their DPT pages online and look at what they require to be done. Call/email and ask them about your situation.
