Is it necessary? its a whopping 2000 pounds and what does pre vet summer school even mean? anyone who's gone through it before? will it help in our application forms? will it give us a higher chance in entering top vet univs? thanks for your help and input!!

I've never heard of this. I googled it, and it looks like the program claims it looks good on the RVC app (I mean, it's not surprising that the program would say it looks good...). But I'd check directly with admissions at RVC and see if they really do care much, and whether it looks good enough to be worth that much money. My first guess is that it would not make enough of a difference to be worth it, and it'd be better to spend the time and money shadowing and taking your regular prerequisites.

If you're planning to apply to other schools, I highly doubt this would be worth what it costs. You can get plenty of experience without paying 2000 pounds to spend one week at the vet school, and you'll get plenty of education taking your regular prerequisites.

hmmm sounds right, thanks for your input!
