Does anyone know of any postbac programs that are open to everyone? most of the ones ive seen are only open to disadvantaged/minority students. any help would be much appreciated. thanks

I'm assuming you mean post bac programs that are specifically linked to a program and has a very high chance of entry after graduating.

The only one I know of that is based mostly on stats is Nova's program. Others like UCSF/UoP and creighton are as you said based more on minority/economic status.

Perhaps you can do an informal post-bac ie take coursework at a local state school or do a Special Masters Program? I majored in East Asian Studies as and undergrad and had a less than stellar gpa- 3.1 and I did both an informal post bac and SMP. It really helped my odds and I got 3 interviews this cycle- 1 acceptance, 1 waitlist, and one I'm still waiting to hear from.

There are a lot out there..the nova one is the only one that is pretty much guaranteed you get in if you do well....BU has one, thats the one im in right now...MAMS-oral health.. you take all the classes with DMD1's and you can grad in a year or 2...depends on what you want to do...not necessarily guaranteed a seat, but it does look good for you to the BU dental school. do your research and there is a link somewhere on here for a list of them...oh yeah google will do ya good too. 😛😉
