PreDents.com: List of applicants?

This time of the year Predents.com is really blank so I was wondering if the majority of you all would at least like to see the people who applied to the schools and their respective stats? Without any interview response, you can't really tell what is competitive but at least it's something. Around Aug or Sep I'll take down the applicants data since it will be somewhat obsolete since interview and rejection data will be much more valuable.

Also, the message board system will be complete in mid July so some communication, although limited, can be done between predents.com members. Message board communication can be enabled/disabled by the user. Emails of users will not be accessible, as per my privacy agreement.

also i was wondering if you could do one more thing - for every individual profile, you kno how you have applied, interviewed, accepted, rejected and withdrawn, well i was wondering if you could add a "waitlisted" column. that would be super! thanks

I think an applicants institution's name should be made mandatory. A 4.0 from an less challenging college is quite different from a 3.5 from an Ivy or rigorous research schools like UMich, UCLA, UVA, etc....that way an applicant can get a jist of whether a school puts weight on the undegrad institution a student attended.

i feel bad even making a suggestion since predents is so great, but it would be amazing to be able to search by undergrad institution and not just by dental school.

I think its a good idea too! Predents is as anonymous as you want it to be...if people don't want anyone knowing their undergrad college, DAT scores, GPA, etc, they should just not link it to their SDN name. I agree that people should be required to enter undergrad institution, and I also like happyasaclam's suggestion to make it a search feature!
