Hey everyone, lets support PDizzle for all of his hard work in getting this site started!

It's so much better than www.mdapplicants.com and much better organized. I have a few suggestions but they can wait!

MAKE A PROFILE EVERYONE so we can get rid of all our GPAs and DATs on your signatures so that people only see it WHEN THEY WANT TO SEE IT!

i agree its a sick site. Problem is i'm applying for next cycle. Dizzle needs to make it clear who is in what cycle year. Other than that really awesome site.

Another thing you guys can do is put the link in your signature so we don't have to bump threads like this all the time. Or even better, make a sticky thread about it.

About the cycle, that is a very common request. I realize that there are some D1-D4's that are actually in my database right now. I didn't want to turn anyone away because I needed all the data possible in order to beta test this sucka.

I can promise you, it will be crystal clear what cycle you ar entering data for...believe me!

About suggestions, keep them babies coming. I got 6 months to kill!!!! I listen and think about every suggestion I have recieved. Speaking of additions, I got some cool stuff coming up. Here's just a small taste:

1) A daily poll
2) A "Top 5" page that shows the top 5 schools in several categories, displayed with cool graphs and pie charts, as you would expect!
3) Side by side school compare. You can select two schools and see a very detailed, graphical display of a comparison based on several criteria.
4) Message system. This is optional for each user and can be disabled if you don't want it.

This has the potential to become one of the most useful sites for predents! I hope everyone who finds themselves wasting away hours of your time (like me) on SDN, takes the little bit of time that it takes to create a profile on PreDents.com! If everyone posted their information there as well, it would be quite the resource. The website is amazing! Check it out for yourselves!!

There is so much more I have planned, its gonna blow you guys away!

I appreciate all the support I have recieved and to tell you the truth, the website would be useless if you guys didn't help me get the word out and fill it up. I want 1,500 profiles for next cycle. (That's about 15% of the applicant pool). If I can get that then predents can really use it to either make decisions or just freak out about the entire process (I would have fell into the latter category).

great website! but if i were you, i wouldn't touch anything in the ADEA book. why risk a copyright lawsuit when data entered by current users is more up to date anyways?

Good point but I still want it in. I will call them and ask them. I give them full credit plus have a direct link to their website to purchase the book. We'll see how they respond.
