PreLim/Transitional year electives

Was wondering how most of you guys doing 3 year programs were setting up your prelim or transitional years. some people have told me to take it easy and do chill electives if given the opportunity...i was wondering if any of you have decided to get as much as you can out of your prelim year and maybe pack in some extra ICU months, or any other electives that may help you for our anesthesia residency. thanx

My transitional year suggested Pulmonary ICU, ENT, and anesthesiology as electives. Those sounded reasonable so I took 'em.
