People are getting anes interviews now, but prelim interviews are fewer. To help sort them out, I thought it might be helpful to start a prelim interview thread.

so far: wake forest

...Applied to 10 programs in Baltimore/Harrisburg area...MD programs only...Did not feel like participating in two separate matches (i.e. Waste of Time, money, patience)

Are most people applying for Transitional or Prelim?

It is great idea to separate threads about interview invitations from anest and prelim programs!

I have applied to all NYC prelim prog. So far I have got

Rejections: New Mexico
UT Southwestern (intersting one, rejection before they had my transrcipt or USMLE scores...they must really not have liked me, or have something against anesthesia!)

How many Pre-lim/Trans programs do you all plan on interviewing at? I'm starting to think that the 9 that I have are enough. I can see how all of the interviewing can definitely get old quickly.

Stay the heck away from Montefiore!!!

Good training but being a resident there is beyond brutal. The patients are really sick, ancillary services are worse than you could possibly imagine, the list just goes on and on.
