Dude seriously, when the whole academia thing falls through, I got you covered because I hate cleaning out bowel specimens and grossing in placentas. Dont sweat it. Thank me later.

Its cool dude, really I know you are all choked up from my offer, but I hate to see a sharp mind go to waste when there are lymph nodes to find in my 40 cm colon resection specimen or prostates to ink. Seriously, its cool.

You know what? We can even dispense with you calling me by the formal "Master" title and keep casual with "Yes Sir" and "No Sir".

Dude you dont know how cherry this offer is.

I am so glad to learn I am not the only one with very little hospital\touchy-feely experience.

I think I can get an extra 5000 hours in between now and interview time, though (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

You guys are so much more helpful than the pre-allo folks.

theres a good chance that lack of such experience, like my own, will hurt you in admissions. to the best of my knowledge, its just how the system works. its a game, with rules.

pre path ha...its not too cool when young premeds start confidently forecasting their specialties though, its a long time away.

older folks are more helpful since hindsight is 20/20

Pre allo??

Is that the cool new way to say pre-med? Im all fancy, look at me Im pre-allo! WTF is that? Some clue me in, I havent got one for this matter.

Am I an old fart already at 31?!

thumbs up on that definition

Just see what you all started. We are going to have to add a pre-pathology section if the popularity of the academic advising in this forum grows. 😛

😡 That would not make me happy. It is nice for people to show interest but sheesh.

I considered MSTP when I was in college and thinking about med school. Then I decided that I didn't want to do research and it would probably not be the best use of my formative years. 😎
