Hello there!

I'll be attending to either HES or Bryn Mawr next year and I was wondering if anyone had any subject/book recommendations? I haven't done math in about 6 years and would like to brush up.

What I need to know prior to attending a postbac so I can do well, whether it be science or math? Thanks so much in advance!

if you are weak in your precalc, i recommend barron's precalculus. i never took geometry or trig formally in my life and i was able to place into college calculus.

If you want to review the basic-intermediate math you'll need for Gen Chem and beyond, try MathSmart. It's done by the Princeton Review and has won all sorts of awards for being easy to understand. I'm borderline ******ed when it comes to math and it has been my savior as I get ready for Bryn Mawr '08-'09.

So if you end up going, see you there.
