Wonder if the secondaries were even good enough?

Thank you! GPA is 3.66 - from a top 3 Public school. Graduated and took a gap year and working. Agree with the late application- took an extra class over the summer to complete requirements. Had health issues in college which dropped the GPA one semester unfortunately.

There’s a chance you could still be accepted at NYMC or USC. I have a friend who only interviewed at 2 schools, WL at both, then accepted off a waitlist in July. He is now a surgery resident.

Send an update letter to NYMC after you interview and to USC now letting them know of any new accomplishments. Also let Them know in the update letter how enthusiastic you are about their schools. Update letters usually don’t do too much but I’ve seen it swing things a little if you’ve done any big things since applying.
Thank you so much. Keck unfortunately does not take any follow up letters. Wondering if emailing the dean directly would be a no no. Hoping for the best.
