Howdy. Exam's coming up in four days: on thursday. Just had a few questions for all of you that have already wrote (especially those who have used the OAT Achiever)
Test Scores
ADA (before even studying- 2mo before exam)
QRT 400
RCT 400
BIO 350
GEN CHEM 340
ORG CHEM 330
PHYS 360
TS 350
AA 360
I then worked through all of Chad's videos, a big Kaplan book, and Cracking the OAT physics section, and read through all of Feralis biology notes for the DAT. Now onto writing OAT Achiever.
OAT Achiever (starting 2wk before exam)
Ach 1/Ach2/Ach3/
QRT 360 / 340 / 380
RCT 270 / 310 / 280
BIO 320 / 330 / 340
GENC 340 / 340 / 350
ORGC 350 / 350 / 350
PHYS 330 / 280 / 310
TS 350 / 340 / 350
AA 330 / 330 / 340
I know typically OAT achiever is supposed to be harder than the actual OAT, but how hard, really?
The reading comprehension section on this new version of the OAT Achiever seems a tad much. I'm actually very worried about the RC coming onto the OAT because I always end up guessing on the Achiever reading comp when the timers running down. If it is this hard - is there any way I can salvage my reading comprehension grade? I'm fairly confident with all other sections, I don't want this one to be the one that makes me bite the bullet and retake.
I also consider myself a physics guy and I felt like OAT achiever was out of the realms of what we needed to know. Galvanometers and random formulas thrown in there not discussed in Chad's videos or Cracking the OAT physics? Can anyone speak to the physics portion compared to OAT achiever?
With these scores on the achiever, should I feel confident going into the OAT? I'm shooting for ~380-390 if possible (I've heard that you can expect a decent increase from Achiever scores). Rescheduling to a further date is not out of the picture if I need to put some work in for RC/physics.
Any feedback is totally appreciated.
Cheers
