So, I'm currently enrolled at my local Community College and I'm taking Biology 1 (Intro) and will be taking Biology 2 next semester. I will be in Chemistry next year and whatever comes after that my junior year. I'm obviously not gonna be done with my pre-reqs by then and am wondering if its possible to study and prep for the MCATS by myself. I know it seems like a daunting task but I really wanna go to medical school. What should I study to prepare for it? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Its prob more important that you dedicate yourself to your classes completely than begin preparing for mcat. Getting a high GPA is equally as important as mcat, and you should strive for a 4.0. Studying hard in your prereqs is also the best way to obtain a strong content background in your prereqs.

I agree - the pre-reqs are the basis of your knowledge.

Are you talking about inorganic (general) chemistry? You also need orgo and physics. Many pre-meds double up on sciences so they can be done with pre-reqs early and use junior year to review and refresh. You should not take the MCAT without having the actual pre-req classes. You have to take those classes to get into medical school anyway, so just take the MCAT after you finish them. There's no rush.
