I’m starting to feel really hopeless. It’s been radio-silent for a month and a half now. I don’t have a strong MCAT score. The first one I took during my sophomore year is not worth mentioning , and when I took again a year later, I scored +7 but I was confident I would score better than that so, against my older sibling’s advise, I took it again within a month. I just got my score and it’s the exact same score .
It’s highly likely that I will have to go through another application cycle and I’m now just wondering what I should do… I did not land a research job at my college, unfortunately so that’s another weak part of my application. I have a strong GPA (molecular bio). I have a tutoring job at my college which I truly enjoy and would love to continue even after I graduate but I’m afraid that won’t strengthen my application. Work as an M.A.? Wouldn’t I have to train for that? Does working as a scribe strengthen the application? My parents suggested either working in a lab or doing post bacc? I’m not sure anyone would hire me in a lab if they know I’m only using it as a filler while waiting to apply again. Post bacc is so expensive and I’m under the impression that those are for applicants who need to revive their GPA or those who are changing careers. Is there a post bacc worth doing, in my case? I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO and I’m freaking out.

It looks like you and your brother are both posting on the same account and it’s confusing -
If you set up your own it will be better

Ooops, sorry. That is confusing. I should remind him to set up his own account.

are you not actively enrolled in an osteopathic medical school?

So sorry. My brother isn’t on sdn and posted a question for himself. I don’t think he realized it would be confusing! I wonder if there’s a way for him to remove his post..? I apologize.

Again, this is against the TOS. There is no cost to set up your own account so I don't understand why you're brothers had to do that our why you had to share your account. That's actually dangerous regarding security.
