So I kick off my 4th year with my sub-i rotation. Do students usually prepare beforehand or do you just hope that what you learned 3rd year will carry over? Some people I've talked to said that studying beforehand is worthless. I'm just scared because I'll be doing my sub-i in psych and I'll be mostly working with children. When I did my 3rd year psych rotation I exclusively worked with adult patients so I feel like I'm going to be extremely unprepared for this sub-i. 😱

Keep reading some high yield topics like autism, depression, OCD, ADHD and other common scenarios you will encounter. Also in a way you have a head start if you want to apply for psych residency!
