Hi all,
I wanted to ask 'the experts' on the best way to prepare for Pharm school. From the discussions on the various forums, the consensus is that Pre-Pharm is vastly different from Pharmacy School. So if you guys had a chance to redo your P1 year what would you do/not do differently? For example, would you have revised Orgo's mechanisms...or Calc. and Physics equations before class...or does it make a difference? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Best way to prepare? Just relax and have some fun for the summer. I dont really recommend going over your old notes. There are more productive stuff to do in the summer than that.
Reading a lot of the magazines of the profession and other professions will give you a head start. It will allow you to relate to what you are reading as you are going through your first year. For example. . . reading on neurotrasmitters or pain management from CE on NCPA daily journal will help relate to stuff when you are studying for anatomy or pharmacology. It might also help you with Medicinal chemistry and so on.

Dont worry about anything before starting your pharmacy school. Most people dive in and just do fine. Plus, you wont have time once you get started.

Go to clubs every single night of your summer 😀
